Fate!! What exactly does it mean??

Here I come again with some perceptions of mine n some experiences I want to share!!

We human beings are always confused with fate...why does it happen?? Have you ever thought about it?? I have been thinking about it most of the time... but now I feel we always change our views for Fate because of different circumstances.. I don't know if i am right!! Can the dictionary meaning be applied exactly in our lives... I mean in our real life!!

As we know fate controls our life.. Is it true?? Haven't we ever controlled our fate?? Have we asked this question to ourselves?? Well my answer goes this way....though fate controls our life but its us who decide whom to welcome to our life whom to refuse or whom to let go.. its up to us,we decide what exactly we want to do...Fate can be changed!! Think over it I feel at some point of time in our life we have changed our fate..Just try to figure it out!! :) Don't curse our fate... we can change it... be true to yourself!! 'The Secret' says-"If we see it in mind we can hold it in hand!!" "Even a negative situation causes us to grow. That means everything is ultimately for our own good.Look for the gifts in everything."

P.S- Fate is a choice not a chance..its up to us to make it happen!!
